Our client, a large city law firm based in a desirable area near St Pauls tube currently has a maternity leave contract available to an experienced pro-active legal secretary.
Reporting to two Partners, and three solicitors the role is busy and varied and initially a 6 month contract. Your day will include a significant level of client liaison whilst arranging meetings; approximately 40% typing of documents and general correspondence including drafting of basic correspondence and PowerPoint presentations; reviewing of post, using initiative to deal with administrative matters; to ensure incoming/outgoing post and faxes are dealt with promptly; proactive diary management, including reminders of meetings/appointments throughout each day and booking of rooms/taxis/travel and organisation of appropriate papers; and travel arrangements, including foreign travel.
In order to win this role it is essential that you are a confident individual with a professional attitude towards work. Strong technical skills. 65 wpm minimum and a strong team player. Strong Word skills are essential, Powerpoint desirable.
