I was shocked to see the title, but then I thought for a while...
I think Danish Government hit it in the bullseye. Amazingly extraordinary but very clever decision.
If a guy is an addict, he may not worry about where to get money, Drugs mafia is demotivated and crimes are reduced.
I guess its a huge gain for very little ventured.
Brilliant decision.

Lenus would you like that to happen in your country, to your children? I don't think so. First they allow smoking, then drugging, what tomorrow? Killing?

I am from Georgia and Drugs became an overwhelming problem here.
If it happens to my country it doesn't have to involve my children.
The way I see, the county affairs are up to government, my childrens actions are up to me to control.
Families can never sit back on this battle. All efforts must be driven to combat drugs.
On the other hand, Heroin drug dealers will lose their strenghth, which makes this a very powerful move. I ve seen Heroin dealers, the way they act, wearing guns intimidating people, and that, to me, bears more danger than a legitimisation of heorin.
The key point is, that only heroin addict can be given a drug for free, not an every member of society.
Once Heroin Dealers are demotivated, its less chance they will seduce my children in their early age to test the drug.

heroin dealers will never be unmotivated in selling drugs. They will keep it until the former policy is resumed. Drugs is not meat, it doesn't spoil!

You must agree that heroin dealers cannot make the same profit if this law is passed and in force.

what about the rest of the youth, who hasn't yet tried drugs? Heroin dealers will still supply them drugs!

Well, what about them? they are in the same position as before.
this law cannot be the cure for the whole problem. families muste involved on a preventive stage too.
this is the war where nobody can be sitting back, its everybody's batlle, but the law in question clearly resolves the biggest part of the overall issue.

if it was efficient, all countries would pass a similar law, but as you see, they don't.

That argument may not be a "lowest common denominator".
Wind energy IS efficient, but not many countries have adopted it either. It needs time.
Idea though has a definite merit.

Well, then this is a major problem. And why is everybody heading and struggling to become an EU member then?
It is a lot of mess in the community, no?
I think such national problems should be passed through the EU parliament first!

Well, in spite of this unpleasant situation, every EU country must conserve its independence, otherwise EU would be another Soviet Union

I think wind energy is not applied everywhere because it is very expensive. Moreover, I think it's even the most expensive alternative energy source of all.

Wind energy is not cost efficient in all countries because of their geographical location. The same is with laws. Every law shall be adapted to the population it will regulate, to its specific behaviors, concepts and mentality, otherwise its pure water.
