Network Support/Engineer consultant required to work on client site providing maintenance, support and upgrades to complex infrastructures.
You will be confident, well presented and have the ability to deal at all levels on client site. Flexibility to locations, making your choice of contract based on Rate, location and skills advantage being your criteria.
Technical Environment:
MPLS routing, Firewalls, VoIP, 10Gb Ethernet, IPSec VPN's, firewalls (Checkpoint)
YOU WILL HAVE EXPOSURE WITHIN:
- Cisco/Citrix - qualified is advantage otherwise good experience.
- Cisco IOS and Hardware (including 6500s)
- TCP/IP Routing
- LAN/WAN technologies
- VoiP, Citrix, remote desktop,
- IP services, FTP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, remote/dial-in services
Key responsibilities : provide second line support for the entire Network including fault diagnosis & resolution of day 2day support issues, IT procurement, support Windows and Unix teams in joint projects.
You will be a good communicator and possess a can-do-will-do approach to any task that you carry out.
