London: Part time coffee barista
#1
I run a mobile coffee shop called Cafe2U. I visit businesses in Ealing every day and when customers hear my horn they come down and I make them a fresh espresso-based coffee. It's like Starbucks on wheels, only with much better coffee! The round is the same everyday, starting at Northfields Underground station, taking in some businesess on Uxbridge Road and ending at Ealing Studios.
I've been working on my own for two years and would like someone to cover me so I don't have to work so hard. The round needs a barista (coffee maker) to cover for me once a fortnight and for holidays and some weekends. The part-time work would cover the following dates:
A Friday, once a fortnight.
Nine Sundays in the Spring (sporting event)
Holidays two or three times a year for a week or two at a time.
This job would suit someone who has retired but wants to keep busy, or a student who doesn't attend lectures on Fridays, or someone who just wants to do a fun job on a casual basis.
What I am looking for:
Someone with a full British driving license
Someone who lives in or very near to Ealing
Someone who loves coffee and cares about it
Someone who speaks perfect English
Someone who fully understands and is immersed in English culture
Someone reliable who enjoys working under their own steam without supervision
Someone who gets a buzz out of pleasing the customer
Someone who can see themselves doing the job for at least the next couple of years
What I am not looking for:
Someone who can't drive
Someone who doesn't like coffe or has never even tasted coffee
Someone who doesn't live in Ealing
Someone who can't speak perfect English
Someone who doesn't fully understand or is not immersed in English culture
Someone who isn't reliable
Someone who doesn't care about customer service.
Someone who leaves the country for long periods of time or only wants to do this for a short time
The pay is £80 per day (approximately £10 per hour) and it is cash, which means it's up to you to declare it. The hours are from 6.30am-2pm. The Sunday hours are shorter.
Full training will be given. I want to find someone reliable, self-motivated and in this for a good period of time. (I don't want to train someone up and then they tell me they're off).
If this sounds like the kind of job that might suit you and you comply to the list of qualities I am looking for, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I go on holiday in three weeks and would like to have someone in place by then.
