Darkest ever material promising a brighter future
#1
The "darkest ever" substance known to science has been made in a US laboratory. The material was created from carbon nanotubes - sheets of carbon just one atom thick rolled up into cylinders. Researchers say it is the closest thing yet to the ideal black material, which absorbs light perfectly at all angles and over all wavelengths. The discovery is expected to have applications in the fields of electronics and solar energy.

New discovers offer new opportunities, that is why as long as it is useful and harmless, the "darkest material" should be exploited.

In which way is it harmless? It may be harmless as a final product but if we consider what is involved in it's production... is it still safe for environment?

Just imagine manufacturing solar batteries from these materials, which of course, would lead to the maximum production of a solar battery ever. I think that would be a good sacrifice.

But from what I know nano technology does not involve large scale productions and environment emissions, as this technology is the smallest possible, measured in microns.

the darkest material can help finding the ever engine, which is priceless for the humanity!

The brightest material would be a good addition to human being too. Imagine using it in water saving tanks or on roof of the buildings. They will reflect way better the solar light.
