Our Client, a dominant Contractor within the market place is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Policy Manager. You will be required to oversee and closely examine how they produce, store and treat waste, this multi-disciplinary (Civil, Utilities, Electrical) Contractor provides advice on procedures that ensures Clients duty of care. Furthermore document all relevant information and keep on top of all necessary documentation.
The location of this role is the London and Dartford regions. You will ideally come from a similar competitor Main or Sub-Contractor, preferably from a Civil / Utilities background.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Site design
* Advising on planning applications
* Carrying out site audits and surveys
* Assisting in preparation of EIAs
* Bidding and marketing for new business
With good commercial awareness you will be confident and independent with good communication skills.
It is also preferable that you will also have:
* A relevant MSc would be desirable
* Previous waste planning experience
* Membership of a relevant professional body
