#1
Almost every country in the world has its therapeutic places, where mineral springs come out of the ground, containing the necessary elements for curing diseases and making prophylaxis with curing mud. There are places with special microclimate, that help treating hard diseases, especially those related to breathing passages. In such places, as a rule, special therapeutic sanatoriums These places are established for curing and entertaining purposes.

A good, healthy microclimate can be found in mountains, in woods, in hot deserts. If these places have mineral springs, then they are worthless.

The potential tourist wishing to join such sanatoriums should consult his doctor. Knowing his patient's organism, the doctor can recommend him good places for having rest and simultaneously improve his health. Or, the patient can choose independently the place to rest at, by taking into account his health deficiencies.

Don't forget that all sanatoriums have professional doctors. So, don't hesitate to talk to them, since they can give you good advices.

My friend has once been to such sanatoriums and has experienced what they use to call "mud curing". It's something unforgettable, he says. And the body feels cleaner after the procedure.

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

There are many therapeutic destinations, but they are as a rule very expensive. For example Safari, Kenya, Dead Sea and a lot of others. A simple man not always can afford such a pleasure, that's said, it's out of the pocket price.

Sokołowsko is a village and traditional climatic health resort in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.n 1945 Görbersdorf, now belonging to Poland, was named Sokołowsko in honour of the merits of the Polish internist Alfred Sokołowski who had been a close co-worker of Hermann Brehmer. The now-called Grunwald sanatorium has continued to operate as a public anti-consumptive resort, while large parts of the facilities decayed. On the initiative of medical director Stanisław Domin the treatment profile was broadened to all kind of lung diseases, later also dementia. The filmmaker Krzysztof Kieślowski, whose father suffered from tuberculosis, spent several years of his youth at Sokołowsko.

In 1970s the settlement was being transformed into Provincial Centre of Winter Sports, but due to lack of resources the project was not completed. Sokołowsko didn’t regain its village status until the beginning of the 21st century. In the recent years, some of the mansions were renovated. The Russian Orthodox Archangel Michael chapel has been rebuilt by the Catholic Renovabis organisation.

According to scientific research, clay found in some springs has therapeutic properties that can cure numerous bone, skin, kidney and gastrointestinal diseases and respiratory problems. The Red Sea water with its chemical composition and abundance of coral reefs help cure from psoriasis. That is the reason why prefer therapeutic tours.
