I'm thinking of attending some accounting courses, do you think it could be useful for me, as a future manager? Or maybe it would be enough to simply hire an accountant? I happened to hear many cases when companies either go bankrupt or are imposed high fines because the account makes mistake. I would like these situations to avoid me, by learning accountancy, maybe not necessarily details, but the basis should be inside my head. The only disadvantage here is that I don't really have spare time to afford for learning accountancy subjects...

I think you must attend some courses of accounting, it may be very useful for you and you'll feel yourself more confident. Don't be afraid of hearsay, just act, and also learn as more as you can, and be informed.
