Spanish cuisine
#1
Tapas are probably the concept of Spanish cuisine most admired and imitated around the world, inspiring thousands of bars and restaurants. The idea is simple, straightforward, and a visit to a tapas bar is possibly the best way to sample a wide variety of Spanish food. The word tapa means cover or lid, and the use of the term refers to the days when bar workers would place complimentary appetisers like a cover of their patron's wine glasses to keep away flies.

Many of the vegetables commonly used in Spanish cooking were brought back to Spain from the Americas by Spanish explorers in the 1400s and 1500s. Tomatoes, bell peppers (capsicum), potatoes and zucchini have now become synonymous not only with Spanish cuisine.

Being a Spanish runs through my veins..
Though I wasn't born in Spain and haven't even got there ever, but i can feel being one inside of my system. I can speak un pocco Espanyol but not really good at it.. And I love Spanish cuisine very much.. It's as if it's my regular food.. Hmmm I am very much willing to learn more of Spain as the other side of me.. ^_^
