Winter 2010
#1
Salute, guys! I’m from Bulgaria. You know, my country suffered a lot from the Ukrainian-Russian gas row last winter. And actually no one here wants the nightmare to repeat itself this winter. You see, we had to burn wooden logs in portable heaters so as to get warmed.
At a cursory glance everything’s going pretty well now. Ukraine has even stopped pumping our gas into its storages – Ukrainians say 25.5 bn cubic meters is enough for them ( en.rian . ru /exsoviet/20090907/156050669 . html ).
But curiously, how come that Ukraine’s consumption of natural gas [ indexmundi . com/ukraine/natural_gas_consumption. html ] increased by 15 percent last year , but this year they suddenly reduce their storages?
It’s highly doubtful that they have the amount of gas they announced. A friend of mine, who lives in Ukraine, says all this stuff’s just in order to put Europe at ease! You know, they just have no money to pay for the gas, and have no one to borrow it from! Europe can’t endlessly put up the money for Ukraine! Well, in addition [ bloomberg. com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aPyxczijMHQs ]
debts of their main gas company Naftogaz are steadily increasing ! Meanwhile Gazprom (gas supplier) will not pay for gas transit in advance, as it is not specified in their contract and you know the time is fairly tough now ( bloomberg . com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=a_DCuC5ETO0Q)!
Thus, to cut the long story short, their words contradict the facts and figures! And therefore if Europe doesn’t interfere, bringing Ukrainian government to account now, then the Cold Winter 2010 is inevitable for us!

I do not want to think about such a possible problem. I want to hope that they have put some information in their head, learned the lesson and will not repeat the mistake of last year. Some representatives of Europe must speak with them on friendly tone, because with bad do bad ... And with bad we will freeze next winter...

because those 15 percent was the storage for Ukraine in case Russian will stop to provide gas... and this year those 15 % disappear as an economy after last winter conflict ... I hope nobody will suffer... and more i would agree that Russian to cut the percentage of gas provided to Ukraine, they have their gas...As for Europe is more efficient is to made a gas project with Russia but not involving Ukraine... that is a pipe that Ukraine will not have access to BA and gas will be only for European countries and ports of entry and inspection to be checked against the theft of the producing country as well as buyer through checkpoints and transmitters installed on pipes ...
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."
