TRAVELS WITH PRAYERS...HAVE A BLESSED JOUNNEY!
#1
Peace be upon you!
1= Travels teach lessons. For example, a great number of tourists visit Egypt to see the mummy of Pharaoh. Tourists with spiritual insight can think about the terrible end of a Pharoah who stood against a prophet of God.

2= Travels of a believer are to seek and establish goodness, to thank, and to pray to God for blessings. Righteousness is the objective. For instance, when one goes for Hajj, one is asked to has righteousness alongwith physical necessities for travel ( 2:198) . There is the message for all travels.

3= To travel in the land to serve God is among the qualities of believers; the other qualities being : they repent, worship, praise, bow down, prostrate themselves, enjoin good, forfid evil, guard the limits set by Allah (9:112). They are given glad tidings.

4= The first condition to walk on the path of righteousness is sincere repentance, it keeps believer away from ills. The correction is achieved when one determines to fully avoid evils. Then high morals are accomplished. This leads one to worship of God, according to the promised reformer (mta.tv). And this state brings one to a third stage where one praises God under all circumstances.

5= In the above explanations, traveling of believers is stated together with their bowing down and prostartion to God. According to the holy Caliph, these are not mere physical acts. These acts siginify one’s soul which seeks pleasure of God with full effort and prostration means complete sincerety. The holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had said that human is very close to Allah in prostration posture [during prayers]. To achieve continued glad tidings, one is required to distribute goodness to all humanity and endeavor against evils.

6= The blessed holy Prophet would say prayer (43:14) before every journey to praise God Who gave control over way of conveyance. In this era of holy promised messiah, speedy transport is present which can be used to convey peace and get blessings.

7= The blessd holy Prophet would always pray for his and his companions’ journies. During travel, while encamped he would not leave without offering two rakat of salat / prayer….He would give charity / alms at the beginning and finishing of trip……When he returned from Hajj, Ummarah or an expedition, he would say : Allah is the greatest while going up a height ; holy is Allah when descending…..He would pray : There is none worthy of worship but Allah. He is One and has no partner. His is the Kingdom. All praise belongs to Him. He has power over every matter. We are returning repenting, worshipping our Lord and praising him.

8= He informed that the prayers of three persons are always accepted ---- the victim, the traveler and a father’s prayer for his children.

9= Upon entering a town, he would praise God who created everything; he would pray to God for the welfare of people of town and seek His refuge from evil of the town. He would pray to get and to give love to people who live in town, particularly the pious ones.

10= He would pray for Allah’s company in travel and His care for home behind and His refuge from hardships of journey, from returning in grief and from having loss after gain.

11= May the banner of Unity God is seen everywhere and the benefactor of all humanity – the blessed holy prophet is luminous worldwide and may God continue to open doors of His grace and blessings.
Thanks.
