Sales of"Madden NFL 21" Are Pointing to Mut 21 coins Continued Growth for Electronic Arts

Countless new players have joined Electronics' (NASDAQ:EA) EA Player Network since the beginning of April. Gamers were highly engaged throughout the pandemic, which led to solid earnings for the company last quarter, but the lingering question on investors' minds has been how long this period of heightened player action could last. The most recent sales statistics for Madden NFL 21, that premiered on Aug. 28, might hint at the response.

The sport is also being played more with more than 17 million games played in the new mode, The Yard. This includes following Madden NFL 20 undergone its own record year for the franchise with the highest engagement levels in its own history. Madden NFL 20 led to a strong financial first quarter of growth in EA's live services business, which grew net bookings 61% year over year to $1.1 billion. Live services include in-game spending Madden and FIFA Ultimate Team.

This trend also performed in FIFA 20, which brought seven million new players. As Chief Operating Officer Blake Jorgensen said during the July earnings call,"That is significant, in that men and women who have played the game lately are more inclined to obtain the new one."

That certainly seems to be the case with Madden. The growth in sales to the latest variant comes after CEO Andrew Wilson explained previously that the usage of sports and entertainment is moving from linear to buy Madden nfl 21 coins interactive. "We've seen both of these trends accelerate throughout the COVID-19 period," he said. If sales of Madden 21 are any indication, EA may end up having a very strong fall season of gaming and continued expansion in dwell solutions revenue.
