Clifton Interiors require a full time member of staff who will be responsible for the day to day running of our accounts function, and all aspects of office management within our thriving Interior Design consultancy and showroom.
The role would suit a part qualified CIMA / ACCA candidate seeking good all-round experience and a chance to take on a high degree of responsibility. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate expertise in Sage Line 50, Excel and Word.
The role involves:
· Accounts payable: from invoice sign off and entry to cheque and electronic payment, communicating with suppliers
· Accounts receivable: from invoice generation to credit control and banking
· Bank Reconciliation.
· Petty cash.
· Monthly management accounts: including journals.
· VAT returns.
· Bringing excellent budgeting and controls systems into place
· Preparing accounts to trial balance ready for external audit
· Costing of invoices
· Preparation of client costing sheets ready for presentation
· Reporting directly to the MD
As the role will involve frequent communication with customers and suppliers, good spoken and written English is essential. We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm, initiative and who are hard working and reliable. We would like someone able to meet the challenges of a growing company within the design industry.
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience. Based in Primrose Hill (NW1), 4 minutes walk from chalk farm station (Northern Line)
