Very insensitive act . Freedom of speech does not mean one should hurt other people 's feelings and emotions.Personally I dont enjoy jokes on Jesus Christ or Hazarat Essa (a.s). His position of is as important and sacred as my Prophet Mohammad (s.w).
Kindly donot hurt others in the name of civilization. Great civilizations are pioneers of ettiquette, sensitivity and attitudes both moral and ethical.
Apology and action in the positive way is a must.

This is a delibrate attempt by non muslim to cause chaos and anarchy. They know that muslims would react if they publish such things. If government want to help resolve this problem, the producer of such cartoon should be brought to book and ban the cartoon immediately.

I think is ridiculous that people riot because of cartoons. So what they were people to, the only thing they spread lessons of GOD. Non the less they were still humans and I am sure if they were here they would enjoy a good laugh. Life is too short to take things to seriously, unless is life threatening or threatens your freedom. Islam is the religion of peace and Mohammad (PBUH) is the last messenger of God and there should not be ANYTHING which even tends to show disrespect to HIM.

person, family, society need some discipline and mannersim to make this world liveable and every person must be respected. values and customs are the beauty of culture and a cultured person is he who is nice to others. if we say that our ill manners and brutishness should be respected and others should not even protest against such raw behaviour that is against the civility and culturedness. have you ever heard of a muslim who said any blasphemous thisng or who was disrespectful to any of the prophets? because islam forbids them from saying any bad words against even idols. if you find some fault in muslims it is not the fault of Islam.
