#1
For many people fitness becomes the style of life.To go to fitness is just like to brush teeth in the morning,it becomes a habit.Everyday we see beautiful women and men on TV,and they are in a perfect shape. Who don't want to have a perfect body? What do you do to be in a good shape?

Fitness at age three! People have discovered only now, in old age, a new passion, which motivates them to leave the house: fitness. And many pensioners do not stop just at move, but have changed and nutrition, in the name of a healthy life. Smile Confuseduper

My secret is: eat what I want when I want, sleep how much I want, don't make gymnastics; but still i'm walking in the park, sometimes running in the morning .. but, these days are more like holidays, than a habit Wink

I agree the fact that sport is a style of live. Everybody want to be healthy and in a good shape. I've even heard about fitness-tours.Fitness-tours are organized for those who like an active rest. You have yoga classes, dance classes , play tennis, swim, and many other activities. Many professionals work with you and make your body slimer and your health stronger. I think that it is rather interesting kind of the rest.

Isn't it interesting, how certain people are quick to criticise the obese for being "lazy," but won't reveal their own exercise regime here ;-)

To be in good shape, I walk at least 30 minutes each day. Most days I walk for 40 minutes twice a day (to and from my place of work/study, which is up a steep hill!) In addition, I have a dance lesson once a week, and I do kick-aerobics, dance, or yoga, whenever I have time. I used to train martial arts every evening, but I can't at the moment :-( I try to stay active during the day - getting up from my desk every hour to get a drink or visit the library Smile This is important for your circulation and metabolism.

Frequent exercises can increase flexibility and strong bones, which can help ward off the bone-thinning condition called osteoporosis. Regular activity also promises mental-health benefits, like relieving stress and anxiety. It can help you sleep better and renew your energy.

Well the best way to loose weight is diet and exercise. Start off small with the exercising, don't jump into running 5 miles or something right off the bat, you'll probably just hurt yourself. I'd start off walking 1 mile or so 4 days a week and you can lift weights once or twice a week. Leave a "rest day" (picking whatever day you want, mine is Sunday, where you don't do any running/weights to give yourself a break.

As for food, it can be hard at first but just stay away from soda/junk food and focus on fruits, veggies and water. Drink A LOT of water, it'll help control your hunger. You might also want to take a daily vitamin to make sure you're getting everything your body needs. Also while eating, eat slowly, it can take awhile for your brain to get the message from your stomach that you're full. Just cut back on your portions (that's how I lost weight fast). And always remember to eat breakfast! It'll help control your hunger for the rest of the day also. Eat a good cereal or something, like Cheerios. Another thing is count calories. Write down the calories of everything you eat for a day and add it up at the end, you'll probably want to be somewhere in 1000-1500 calorie intake daily. There is 3500 calories in a pound so as long as you're burning more than 3500 calories you'll lose weight. You need to burn more calories than you're taking in!

Don't be embarrassed to run in your neighborhood or anywhere really; at least your doing something about it, right? Don't worry about what other's think, losing weight is about what YOU want, not other people.

For sleeping, I generally go to sleep around 10 or 11 and get up at 8 or 9. It's good to get around 8 hours of sleep a night, some people can run on less and some people need more, all depends on you.

Well, I think it is our nature. Everyone wants to be healthy. I myself run in the park at least once a week and if I'm very busy just do some jumping rope. Big Grin at least 100 counts.
