The tent comfort
Strength and waterproof are the qualities of good tents. Other criteria to take into account: single or double wall. A single wall tent is lighter and ideal for dry climates. A double wall tent, harder, is suitable for all climates and for all uses. Choose the best model suited to the activities provided. So, the tent with roof provide a large volume and has a very solid structure. Less resistant, but less bulky, tunnel tent is easily assembled. The pyramid tent does not have in generally support. It installs quickly, but not recommended in case of violent winds.

Sleeping bag
One of the basics of camping is - sleeping bag. You can choose a sleeping bag with lining of cotton or synthetic material. The cotton is easier, but synthetic's provides higher protection against moisture. Up to you to choose between the two models: blanket (with or without lining) and anatomically sarcophagus (a sleeping bag straightest at the legs level and provided with a lining). Blanket is more comfortable, but the sarcophagus, moulding to the body, ensure a better heating.

A protector mattress
To ensure isolation to the sleeping bag, nothing beat a mattress. The most expensive are from foam, with a small advantage to the corrugated, slightly bulky, but more protective. Another possibility: self-inflated mattresses, formed from a foam that aspire the air. It guarantees a good level of insulation and protection. Air mattresses, very comfortable, very bulky and require a pump.

Even if you use a trailer, you need a tent. Make sure that you have a tent large enought to contain all members of your family. Some people take two tents, one for them ,another for their children. It is wise to take a tent that is larger than your family size. Also you should take tent poles and tent stakes. In addition you will need a ground cloth under your tent. Next, you will need a lantern of rechargeable battery type. Fresh water and a cooler for food and liquids are necessary to make your camping comfortable.

Hello

Tents are made from a variety of different materials. Most have a breathable inner sleeping section and a separate waterproof flysheet. This two-walled construction provides insulation and prevents the build-up of condensation inside the tent.Cotton is a natural fabric. It can be coated with PVC for the roof and the bottom strip, known as the skirt. The use of cotton allows the tent fabric to breathe and thus produces less condensation. However, cotton is heavier and bulkier when packed, so is generally used for frame tents where weight is less important. Smaller, lightweight tents may use cotton for the inner sleeping compartment. The disadvantage of cotton in tent manufacture is that they require proper care, otherwise they will rot.Nylon and polyester are used for the majority of dome, vis-à-vis and ridge tents. These fabrics are generally coated with one or more polyurethane coatings to provide waterproofing. This type of fabric has the advantage of drying quickly, being lightweight and packing down to a small size. It also needs minimum maintenance. Nylon and polyester can become brittle and deteriorate with prolonged exposure to bright sunlight. An important innovation in the camping industry was the development of Sewn-In-Groundsheets (S.I.G.s). These are groundsheets sewn either to the inner tent or to the outer flysheet. They offer built-in comfort and warmth for your tent, as well as ensuring you don't share your night with the creepy crawlies. Without a sewn-in-groundsheet you may have slightly better ventilation, but this will come at the cost of comfort and insulation. We recommend you ensure that whatever tent you buy comes with a S.I.G. as standard.

Have a nice day
