I know more about weight loss, healthy diet and everything that goes with it than most dieticians, but I just can't seem to get the mindset that will allow me to start and then stick to an eating plan.
I have lost weight a number of times before - 35kg once, but my motivation just isn't there now.
How do I get it back? And keep it!

Will power. Or look yourself in the mirror a lot for a long period of time and if you're unhappy with it that should be motivation. Or trust someone you know to force you to stick to it.

If you don't have it, you don't have it. Maybe it's time you stop thinking that you're too overweight.

If you lost weight before put up pictures of how you were BEFORE and AFTER. And next to the AFTER picture put one of you NOW and label a blank page next to it...FUTURE. It will make you interested to see how you become.
Also, watch a lot of E TV, looking at the super skinny celebs is enough to make someone give up the brownies for good.

let me ask you this, can you do it for a year, no if you look at it in that perspective. can you do it for a day, yes, then do it day by day and stop thinking about how many years weeks/months it's gonna take.

If you set goals, I think it makes it a loooot easier.
Think about if you have any specific events coming
up, like a wedding, parties, event, etc. Then you can
set a goal of about 2 pounds each week. If you keep
telling yourself that you can do it, and start seeing
results, you will ultimately have the drive to continue
working your way to optimal health.
Take Care and Good Luck (: (:

My motivation isn't the one most people advise. Weight loss seems to have become this lovey-dovey no-tears environment that's all about being "positive" and surrounding yourself with supportive people and forgiving yourself..... yeah, none of that shit really works.
What works for me (and may for you too) is I'm really mean to myself. I call myself "fatty" and "porky" in my head when I start to think about bad foods. If I give in, I make myself do a really hard workout and think "move it fatty!"... I also take plenty of time to stare at my faults in the mirror and focus on how much I hate them and want them gone.
This negativity has helped me far more than any "positive" attitude towards weight loss ever has. Good luck tubby. =)

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com
Good luck and stay focused = )

I know it sounds kind of stupid but I bought a really cute bikini and I have it hanging up in my room. When I need a little more motivation I put it on and look in the mirror. Its worked for me so far!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Think about how great your body/muscles will look after you work out.
