will world of warcraft run on a single core processor?

i am looking at this new laptop, it looks like all the system requirements are met except it only has a AMD Athlon 64 Single-Core TF-20

It's possible to run it, although it will not run very well.

It runs perfectly well here on an elderly Athlon - it's more about the video card than the processor as much of the load is shuffling images around and rendering.

Anyway - yours does meet the system requirements - and considerably in excess of the minimum which is an Athlon 1500+
