What is the importance of religious organisation in politics?
#1
Jamat-e-Islami is a biggest Muslim party. It has started a national campaign against corruption and criminalisation in politics. It claim that it has hundreds of lakhs of sympathisers in India. Is it proper for religious parties to interfere in politics? How will it if politics attach with religion? What impact will it on the society in such case. Is it true that religion can protect the society from all evils?

What???
So you mean that ethics is the product of religion???
Then back to the middle ages!

The period of enlightment brought us one of the greatest foundation for democracy: Separation of church and state.

The more a society evolves, the less politics is involved. While the ideal gov't would be totally devoid of all religion(but not morality) and yet tolerate all forms of religion to be practiced, India might not be there yet and therfore "need" religion to help establish societal norms.
That does not mean that any religion is perfect or can do a good job. It does not mean you need to be religious to be moral.
Whenever political stressors are put on the society ( war, conflict, economic issues, resource depletion) the climate can shift and people can use religion as a psychological safety net. Unfortunately, the search for control and power corrupts, even religion. The parts of a religion that are convenient for maintaining power will be focused on while the benevolent components will fade into the background.

I personally feel there is absolutely no place in gov't for religion and that gov't should protect the right to practice any belief or non-belief. Gov't should strive less for "control" and more for "protecting" of individuals rights. Persons should have basic rights that are non-negotiable ( rights to water, health, food, shelter, speech, religion, etc)

Ideally there shall not be any role of religion in poliitics.

This has reference to your second question. Religions can never protect the society from all evils. Rather source of all evils in society is religion.

politics has come to mean making use of and taking advantage of anything and everything to possess, retain and unleash power against rivals; so, religion, an easily inflammable thing coming handy is jusfiable by those who have use for it.

Politics and religion is the two different things in society. In India also in many country of world without religion politics has not been completed his meaning. This misfortunate for politics but nothing will have to do by any person. Politicians have told so many times we will thinks always politics behind the religion. But this has proved only a statement every time. Society can’t leave without religious prospects; people need to think politics has different things.

It is unfortunate matter for India where politician has been looking politics through religious eye. Religious is the cream area where every politician put his hand on cream bucket. This is the main cause where society has been divided in so many parts. A common nonsense people have clipping there without getting his order. Religious for society not for politics, this would not understand by the people, and get punishment.

There was a thin line between politics and religious, and society has power to control this partisan. But this is unfortunate for people society has get a mutual understanding with politics and playing negative role for people. Religious institution has needed to develop the society not merge with politics. These institutions have so many works that is education for people, medical facilities, and improvement of human being. But behind this work they hove done all type of work, we don’t want to say all they have same type, some kind of institution has very different they have work for society improvement. Such are little bit.

As a person I would think politics and religion has different things, but differentiate line is not very good for a common man how they differentiate it. A common man who has busy in his daily routine life they could not being done some extra for his society, and that cases religious institution getting his benefit.
