I have been struggling with this for a while. A couple months ago i bought a exercise bike and only used it for about a month and drifted off from it. Now i see these bikini adds and that provides some motivation to not eat as much, but how do i motivate myself to workout. Any suggestions please. I have a pretty busy schedule but i can fit time in to workout.

a good motivation is the feeling you get from being a lot healthier.

I would make a commitment to cut calories and get at least 30 minutes of exercise in a day for two weeks. Once you actually start seeing results, that will be your motivation to keep going! It was for me! :o)

take a pic of yourself to realize how fat you are.
then look at it everyday and you'll go, whoa im fat and ugly.
then instead of eating all day, drink lots of water instead of pop, and
eat things like fruit instead of junk.
eat some grains or something lady!
and if u dont wanna work out at least 30mins a day then u dont
care enough to lose weight!
stop being lazy!

I always picture my body how I want it to look. I think to myself that if I want to achieve that goal, then I have to work hard for it. I sometimes use Wii Fit and it's a fun and easy way to work out in your house.

You need to pick up a sport. Sports are the key to healthy living. If you are passionate about a sport you will eat well in order to perform well at your sport. You will lose weight and achieve a better looking body while enjoying yourself. You will make friends who will help keep you motivated as you won't want to dissapoint them by underperforming or missing any classes/practices.
I chose to join a martial arts class that I only attend twice a week. It is a very intense workout and I have lost 5 pounds in a month (I was already fairly fit). I don't ever want to miss a class because then the other people will progress while I am at home. Plus it's fun to get rid of agression or to work out after a bad day.

Find your own, you want to fit into that bikini? theres your motivation. My motiviation "when I look in the mirror I want to be happy and proud of myself"
Being in shape is something you CANNOT purchase, its takes time and effort.....think how nice it will be when you look in the mirror, see a slim, sexy lady who can show off her curves and be happy..... something you wish for? Get on that bike, dont eat less.
FYI..... the more you exercise and start to loose wight, the MORE you will eat!!!!! food is important, the right kinds of foods.

Find something you enjoy! Exercise is a key component to any diet plan. Eating healthy and occasionally supplements if necessary (but be extremely careful - many are dangerous; ask your doctor before starting any) are okay, but if you really want to feel good, look great, and have lots of energy to work with during the day - then you must exercise your body. It is the way God made us. Now, if you simply try to motivate yourself to get on an exercise bike, stare at a wall, and work out for 30 minutes, I can tell you it is not going to happen. Try going on an actual bike ride; it is fun and there are lots of things to look at and places to go. You could take up dance lessons - it is great exercise and lots of fun as well. Or perhaps a sport? racquetball? tennis? etc. There are lots of ways to get exercise out there, you just have to know yourself and know what you will stick too. What do you enjoy doing? Do you have a dog? You could run with him. See? There are lots of options. Just find the one that works for you and you will begin to see results!
