I used to work tons. But... I moved out of my dorm, got a serious infection and my daily tasks went out the door. A month later, I'd like to go back to the old cycle, to study and work. I still have some pain but with serious motivation and focus I might be able to do it. Any suggestions to help me with this?

Aim for moderation between what used to be and what is now. Do not over-exert yourself.
You already have an overall goal in mind. Aim for it.

on your free time do something that takes alot of focus, but yet is fun for you: EX: sudoku, random art projects, other brain puzzles, photography, writing music, cooking, (et cetera) ---like find a passion to persue, then when you need to work/study u won't have as much "daydreaming" energy and you'll end up more-so in one place at one time... when your working your working, when your studying you're studying...

You've got a couple of good answers here. About all I can add is this link to someone you might get a kick out of. He's always inspired me:

You have to make it a goal of yours to return to working. Think about all of the positive benefits of returning and focus solely on those. Do not think about failure... just think about how much better your life will be in the future if you get back to work
