I am just now picking up WoW again before Lich King, and I had deleted all of the mods that I used to play with. But the ones I did play with, they were tricky to install, and a lot of the times didn't show up in game.
Are there any other Mac users that play world of warcraft and would be able to help me out with my dilemma? As well as if anyone has any suggestions as to what mods they think I should get.

I recommend wowmatrix for Mac users because it provides an installer/updater tool that will make downloading and installing mods very easy.

Go to the website and click on the tutorial for info on how it works and how to use it.
As for the mods themselves, I recommend Xperl for unit frames, Atlas and Atlasloot for dungeon/raid maps and items, and Auctioneer for auction houses. I also use DeadlyBossMods and Omen for raids and battlegrounds.
You can download and install as many mods as you want but I recommend only enabling a handful at a time so you don't cause a strain on your system resources. There are a lot of mods out there that demand heavy memory usage that can cause lag to your gameplay so you may want to experiement a little before actually playing.
Good Luck!
