A leading European Investment bank is looking to recruit a new member to their Commodities Operations Area.
The main function of the role is to support the reconciliation, settlement and invoicing for the range of Commodity products. In addition, have an input into the ongoing development of the infrastructure & process / control environment and on-going integration into the Commodity infrastructure will be an essential element of the role.
Specifics of the role include timely settlement and reconciliation of commodity products, financial & physical. Issuing of invoices in timely manner for the financially settled derivatives products. Actively get involved with on going development of client relationships. Monitor, investigate and rectify any cash breaks within the settlement system. Escalation, where appropriate, of issues and risks to Management in a timely fashion. Have an input in to the on going development and maintenance of relationships with Front Office, Logistics, Product Control as well as other departments within Operations Reconciliation of trade blotters, sales tickets and broker confirms to booking system.
To be considered for this role you will have Operations experience within an Investment Bank, Brokers or Trading House. Commodities Experience is preferable but not essential. Derivatives knowledge is also useful.
