Here at Vivid Image we nurture a collective of highly motivated, highly talented individuals. Our designers and developers have been collected from all around the globe, lending us a culturally diverse perspective and some fantastic accents. Vivid Image is expanding its Motion Graphics department and looking to take on freelance After Effects Artists on a job by job basis. We produce work for Film, Broadcast and New Media so an understanding of all formats would be great (whether working at SD, 16:9, HD,2K or 4K) as well as exporting work for use on the web (flv files, etc.)
We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated individuals who can work as part of a team, who can work to tight deadlines on a variety of work at any one time.
A minimum of two years experience working in a design studio is preferred as is a history of working on film, broadcast or new media projects.
A full and working knowledge of After Effects including CS3 is a must, including grading, 3D camera work, keying, compositing, tracking and all other areas within After Effects. Use of expressions would be desirable though not essential.
In addition, working with audio as well as importing and using CGI elements would be advantageous.
Experience of using Cinema 4D and Final Cut Pro would also be a benefit.
