You should check if your App notifications are set to ON if your Facebook notifications disappeared. Firstly, you need to open Settings on your device and then, select Sound notifications. After opening App Notifications, find Facebook app and make sure that the notifications are enabled. If they are disabled, make sure to enable them and get sorted with the disappeared notifications.
