I think everyone have at least one bad habit, for example smoking or love for the alcohol, or other.People spend countless hours and dollars each year attempting to break these bad habits and often do not have any success. Why? Because there is no magic bullet. Change is hard work and there is no short cut to achieving it. The steps a person needs to take, however, can be very simply outlined.
Can you name that steps which people should pass to combat these bad habits. And how about you, do you have a bad habit?

Habits, good or bad, make you who you are. The key is controlling them. If you know how to change your habits, then even a small effort can create big changes. A good tip for breaking bad habit is trigger, it is a short ritual you perform before a habit. If you wanted to wake up earlier this might mean jumping out of bed as soon as you hear the sound of your alarm. If you wanted to stop smoking this could be snapping your fingers every time you feel the urge for a cigarette. A trigger helps condition a new pattern more consistently.

Write it Down – Don’t leave commitments in your brain. Write them on paper. This does two things. First, it creates clarity by defining in specific terms what your change means. Second, it keeps you committed since it is easy to dismiss a thought, but harder to dismiss a promise printed in front of you.

Bad habits, they are everywhere, some people use narcotics, and became dependent by it and even they don't want to use it anymore, it is very difficult to escape from this circle which rounds around. Even hospitalized they can not escape, after some time, one year or more, they start again to use them. It is very sad, when see how ruins a persons life.
