It certainly does!

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Terry - 07-20-2008

If you say this testament refers to the nowadays, then tell me please what countries are afraid of Russia today?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - clearman - 07-20-2008

I suppose ...the Eastern Europe and Central Europe also. The Red Army is today- Gazprom. Confusedlurp

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Faw_Peter - 07-21-2008

I wouldn't say they are afraid. I would say they are just trying to avoid any conflicts with Russia, because they understand it's their supplier.

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Faw_Peter - 07-25-2008

...and, if you say the Eastern Europe is afraid, then the Western should as well be afraid. Imagine GazProm ceases gas supplying to the Eastern Europe, in this case the Western Europe won't have gas also, because the pipes cross the eastern countries and Russians risk to have the gas stolen.

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - clearman - 07-26-2008

Sure. Mother Russia was to weak in 90's to support Serbia, but today they are strong enough...and Russians just increase their influence in Europe because they have huge resources and everybody needs low cost energy, then this Russian policy might be a blackmail for the richest countries from Europe. ;-)

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - M.Helen - 07-27-2008

as an answer to its actions, Europe's richest country could also blackmail Russia by imposing embargoes to its products.

Terry! Russian life and culture very long time (more then 100 years) was under influence of Germany. And those time Russia made a good progress. So "very inventive" is also a German feature.

Of course! Let's make embargoes to Russians ....and they will go to Asian countries from us!!! :-P AskYourself!Do you know how many companies from Europe made good money in Russia? It seems like we have to account our fingers whole our life! Russia is a good partner for many years. Their funds are in europeans banks and they working for EU and good support for the social problems. Europe needs to take efforts to transfer their huge funds from America to EU. It seems like Georgian invassion into Ossetia will do it for us.

Take a look at Georgia, and you'll see...

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Faw_Peter - 08-12-2008

Certainly European companies and organizations have their huge interests in Russia. There are a lot of prospects in Russia, that's why European businessmen take advantage of that. But, I would say Russia depends on Europe almost to the same extent.

Yes, you're right!Wake up America !Wake-up Europe!

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Terry - 08-14-2008

clearman, what are you calling for Europe and America?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - clearman - 08-15-2008

Man, you can see today the real face of mother Russia. America and Europe have to pay attention to Russian power.

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Karl.in.eu - 08-15-2008

If nobody will take any action, then you don’t really know what it is going to happen next. And I don’t want my children to live in such a world.

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Nicholas - 08-15-2008

I even think that wars and military conflicts should come secondly, because we have even much worse problems to solve, like air pollution.

Disagree. Human rights shall come first, in any situation. If they aren’t protected, than there will be no one to fight for the air pollution problem and its solutions.

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Karl.in.eu - 08-15-2008

Yeah. Imagine the planet earth, being all greeny and shiny, but with no human on it to enjoy this. How about that?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - clearman - 08-15-2008

My dear Europeans, we'll have a cold winter! Don't worry, air pollution could be reasonable in 2009. Smile

Let then Hakan enjoy his human rights alone, with animals!

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Hakan G - 08-17-2008

Oh, so for you human rights don’t mean a thing?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Benn - 08-18-2008

I consider human rights an important factor in our daily life, due to the simple reason we are humans. However things should not be exaggerated as there are plenty of other solid issues to be solved, for example, preventing the clauses of Peter the Great's Testament

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Hakan G - 08-18-2008

By protecting human rights you can solve his situation also, no?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Andrewz - 08-18-2008

actually you are right. Everything starts from spreading correctly the rights.

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - clearman - 08-18-2008

If Georgia and Ukraine join NATO, the Testament will be just history!
