WHAT TOOL SHOULD I USE TO FEEL MORE HAPPY? - euigorwithyou - 12-02-2008

You have this tool. This is your concentration. Think about the concentration as it is a flash light in the darkness. You direct the light of the lantern wherever you choose. You pick up with your flash light one single mood or thought which you really enjoy. Let’s do a little mental experiment. Imagine a quite place in the woods and you sitting on the shore of the beautiful lake. Could you do this? If yes, than this proves that you have the wonderful tool – your own concentration. So, what mood you choose to pick up today? What things you leave in the darkness, out of your focus? The selections you make, day by day, mold you in a person you want to be.

The problem most people have is that they misuse their concentration. They simply don’t use it properly. They bring in their focus things that make them feel unworthy etc., forgetting that it is in their power to control their concentration.

Having the feeling of happiness is great. But, this makes us greedy and live only for ourselves. If we start focusing only on the things we like, then others will reject us, as we don't take into consideration their positions.

Often certain moods and thoughts make us tired. The brain and body spends more energy to process them. So this is why some people are simply deprived of happiness. If we possess the tool, then we should use it. If not, then we should find that tool inside us.

According to a study published in the British Medical Journal happiness is transmitted from one person to another, even if these persons living together don't know each other. Transmission of happiness from one person to another can influence the overall health of humans, so this discovery is quite significant. Have you ever felt you gain happiness from others?
