Protection for weirdest species - Riser - 07-05-2009 A conservation programme for some of the world's most bizarre and unusual creatures has been launched by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). Species like the bumblebee bat and the pygmy hippopotamus will be protected under the Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered (Edge) project. You may add some more information about these weird animals. For e.g. if a sort of the insect or animal disappears that it brings the disappearance of some other species.... That's why everyone should be protected. These species are funny and also are a part of ecosystem, they shouldn't be left without protection.
