astronomers catch a dying star

In a stroke of cosmic luck, astronomers for the first time witnessed the start of one of the universe's most fiery events: the end of a star's life as it exploded into a supernova.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

My friend is fascinated about this suff as a hobby. He sad this is major step for the human science as it confirms facts that were previously assumed, and gives certain clues to new ones :oO

WoW, it's a really incredible, as I'm also loved the star gazing activity as well.
Though, the Solar system will have the same fate like this star in the future...

Well, did you all know that the Sun is classified as the "G" class star and its absolute magnitude is only +4.83?
