A robot designed by a UK professor and his students kept going and going when it set an unofficial world record by walking nonstop for 45 laps -- a little over 9 kilometers or 5.6 miles -- around the Barton Hall running track (UK). Maybe we'll have in future something like robots olympic games...

Beat you in running? Believe me they will, give IT 3 years, and robots will begin to beat people even in jumping.

Teaching robots to walk or run has been a nightmare of all the scientists. How many legs does this robot have?
