Can you feel the crisis in your country?
What steps are you making to survive it?
I bet there are people that can even profit from the crisis...
From my point of view this crisis is a very healthy thing for the economy... the prices for construction materials and fuel have dropped to a normal level.. the same is happening with prices on real estate.
In large corporations useless people will get fired which is another great thing for the economy.
I'm personally sick of seeing people do nothing useful for the company and get a higher salary than a hard working professional gets.

Even the oil prices had once fallen below the $40!
Like you said, maybe there is still some good side from this economy crisis...

Crisis in big companies can sometimes indeed stimulate workers show their best and advance productivity. But, this causes stress to workers, don't forget the human factor

We are now beginning to understand that we used to live in wealthy and rich world and that this meant a real value. The human's nature is to realize such things only when he's surrounded by issues, otherwise he's blind.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Start dealing with concrete things. Forget about financial transactions if your an investor. The economy wants you to wait, be patient and wait until markets stabilize, and then you can invest

If you are having an idea to open a restaurant, a market or other small businesses, forget about it. Even the biggest (giant) networks of restaurants are now on the knife's blade of survival.

Luxurious services are now a second concern. People want at least stability, that's why if you try to open any sort of company, a lot of money must be spent on promoting it. Under conditions of crisis, we want solid partners.

Many Germans have found a good way out of the crisis. Many of them were fired, but they used this opportunity. For example, those who worked at car factories have opened small car services, and they earn good money, since they don't fix big prices for repairs.

that's a good idea Helen. I mean they killed the monopolists by simply fixing lower prices, which, under crisis conditions, makes it the key way for succeeding in business. So it's easier to be a small individual entrepreneur rather than being a giant.

true, and almost no investments are required. For repairing cars you only need a good garage equipped with elementary tools. And if they repair fast and qualitatively one car, the next day they will repair two or three, and the day after tomorrow it'll be 10 cars, due to recommendations.

I would start simply buying gold. Gold has almost never depreciated. Keep it at home, in your safe. You won't worry about liquidity. It can always be exchanged for good money.

Try to save as much money as you can. Use less expensive products and services. Believe me, if you don't feel the crisis on your skin yet, earlier or later it will let you know it's not far. So don't waste money on unneeded things.

Creative entrepreneurs can really survive the crisis. They have to analyze carefully the assets of their company. Traditional production is not a solution anymore. If it's possible, they have to invest in developing their product to something unusual and never seen before by the consumer.

The UK has now experienced four quarters of recession, according to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics. The total decline in output in the UK has now reached 4.9% since the recession began in April 2008.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8127248.stm

That's awful!!
Lloyds Banking Group has announced it is to cut a further 2,100 jobs over the next three years.
This will be mitigated by the creation of 350 new roles, Lloyds said.
The Unite union was "astonished" by the scale of the cuts, which it said brought total job losses at the group since January to 7,000.

If you are being made redundant, there are tips on negotiating redundancy payments available from the TUC. People looking for a job can start with a database of jobs held by Jobcentre Plus. As well as doing this online, you can get information about positions and how to apply by telephone.
Jobseekers who find themselves unemployed for more than six months have been guaranteed more support in getting back to work by the government, including extra training for would-be employees and financial incentives for employers.
