No freedom of movement in EU
#1
No freedom of movement for Turks in EU, says the Dutch Labour party.

Stricter conditions should apply to the freedom of movement for the inhabitants of Turkey if the country joins the European Union, says the Dutch Labour party. The demand is included in Labour’s first draft manifesto for the European elections in June 2009.

What kind of democracy is it as long as EU considers itself a lecturer on freedom for former Soviet States?

Democracy it doesn't existe! these a only words and nothing more! maybe there is free speech but free decision no way because it depends of different people and rules! EU impose to Member States some conditions, and keeping them! What kind of freedom is this? Freedom is just in moving to another state and nothing more!

Sorry guys, but you´re both wrong.

Democracy IS speaking out about what you think - and putting it to the vote. If certain countries/peoples in the EU are restricted in the way the Dutch Labour party suggests THEN you can complain. But you may not complain about an EU member expressing his ideas and suggestions in a democracy.

they have notread in the dictionary nor the school have not learned at the school the definition of the word democracy! But there logic is good! however we are still far from having a full democracy
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Perhaps they are not from democratic countries and they see democracy like looking through a tunnel. [Image: mosc.gif]

EU requires countries to do what they have done! not a imposing but a condition of membership! want to join do what is required, if not then You don't have a place in the EU!Turkey has its history and its minuses! if they request it means I have a reason! defend its interests and its people!
