For employees, as to be happy, healthy and not stressed, British psychologists encourages company directors to allow employees to assess their leading ability. Research is presented in the annual conference of specialists in occupational psychology.

Research is focused on boss-employee relationship, the most common causes of stress at work. 150 company directors were asked to self-assess while almost 500 employees have evaluated the managerial skills of leaders. They were split into two groups: on the one hand, those to whom have been answered on management skills, and then those who have not received any answer. Feedback was focused on managerial behavior that is known to be important in terms of preventing and reducing the stress to employees.

When leaders have received evaluations from employees, were much more likely to change their management style and thus were perceived as more effective managers. Effective behavior, in this context, means among other things: manage their emotions and integrity, administration and communication of existing and future projects, empathy with employees, management efficiency of conflicting moods. Managers who have not received any response were less likely to change the behavior of the leader. Feedback was considered by experts as an essential trigger for change.

The consequences of stress at work are penetrating; people under stress may have psychological symptoms such as anxiety or depression, physiological symptoms such as palpitations or high blood pressure or cognitive symptoms, such as reduced mental capacity. Stress is a major cause of absence from work because of illness, which worries policy makers, thus creating an uncomfortable pressure cycle, which puts her mark in the economic, whether it's person or company.

I really do feel that we should express ourselves well with our bosses, our colleagues, and our staff. But being honest does not mean we can be rude. We should pay more attention to how we can communicate effectively and then it does not matter whether we are talking to our bosses or anyone. With good communication, we can say how we feel and no argument is necessary.

The good relationship with the bosses is very important. I remember my Australian boss before. I can rate him 9 out of 1-10 because he's almost perfect. He treated us not as an employee but as his own family that's why the work environment is very smooth but when he was transferred everything has changed.
