Buddhist monuments are some of my favorite things to gaze upon. Of course, almost only in pictures or t.v.
They are so peaceful.
So serene.
I want to go to China.....

Buddha is not a monument , its a religion and by the way what exactly do you wish to ask if Buddha a common religion in china?

OF COURSE, IT IS THE SYMBOL FOR BUDDHISM, WHAT MOST PEOPLE IN THE WEST DON'T KNOW IS BUDDHISM IS ONE THIRD OF THE WORLDS RELIGION. ALSO IS IN INDIA. WE THINK OF GOD AS RELIGION, OR NOT IF YOU CHOOSE. ALTHOUGH BUDDHA IS NOT A GOD, IT'S MORE OF A CONCEPT OF LIFE.......... SHOULD READ ON IT, IT'S VERY INTERESTING.........
