I just got this new comp i started to dl the WoW patch and it froze after awhile then i restarted my comp and it says im not connected the the internet but i am i turned my firewall off completely thinking it might be some of the problem

It's currently going through the maintenance, if you want to bypass the launcher and see it on the news thing on the top left, you can go into your folder where your world of warcraft is saved, and open the application straight to skip the launcher entirely. And from there you should be able to see it, and it will tell you that you are unable to connect to the server. Since the launchers have been changed since the launch of cata, the way they work has probably been changed, and they need to connect to the server for the launcher too now.

Hey, there's nothing like an epic game of Warcraft. I really love it. I managed to dig this out and think you'll love this too. Go ahead , check it out and immerse yourself.
I turned my firewall of aswell and it didn't help. The WoW repair also tells me i'm not connected to the internet. I've never had a problem before, even on patch days.
