MACEDONIAN NAME DISPUTE SOLUTION?

The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to be officially named the REPUBLIC OF MAKEDONILLYRIA. The official codes will remain as MK and MKD.
It comes from the two historic Kingdoms, MAKEDON or MACEDON which the nations largest ethnic group, the Slav Macedonians, associate themselves with and ILLYRIA which would represents the ethnic Albanian people in FYROM.

The countries largest ethnic group to be recognised as ETHNIC MAKEDONSKI people and the language also as the MAKEDONSKI language.

This way Greece will recognise the ethnic Makedonski minority living in Greece along with the Makedonski language and Christian Makedonski Orthodox religion/church.
Greece will also will support the Republic of Makedonillyria in achieving Nato and EU membership.

In February 2001 Mr Ljubcco Georgievski & Mr Costas Simitis had agreed on the name "Gorna Makedonija" to be the official UN & Constitutional name but ethnic tensions inside FYROM did not allow the process to move ahead.

I believe the current leaders in Skopje & Athens should take note & continue from where they were in 2001.

Gorna means "Upper" in English & there for Upper Macedonia (Άνω Μακεδονία) which is the historic region of the Ancient Upper Macedonians (Άνω Μακεδόνες).

Upper Macedonia became part of the Kingdom of Macedon in the early 4th Century BC.

The problem is will the new Prime Minister of Greece Mr Antonios Samaras accept the name "Republic of Gorna Makedonija" & recognize the identity of the people & language as "Gorna Makedonijan"?
In 1992 while Mr Antonios Samaras was Greece's Foreign Minister, he along with a couple "rebels" in ND Party maintained a hard line stance of no "Macedonia" in the name after Mr Constantine Mitsotakis & Kiro Gligorov had agreed on a compromise name of Republic of Slavomacedonia.
