I can't understand the point because I don't know the flag of the second country (not Israel). Can somebody explain the joke?

The second flag is the Palestinian one. It's the endless war between Palestina and Israel. Personnally I don't know many things about this war, I only know the reason is not one, there are many of them

Sadly, the Palestinians continue to be the gipsies and the homeless of the Middle East.... :nonnon

By saying "the gypsies", you meant they are treated like gypsies right? But what is the reason that led to thi situation?
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

The situation is very complex, because the Arab Palestinians are very poor and live "like in prison", meanwhile the Arabs and the Jews are healthy and rich people.
To the Palestinian people, the boundaries of Palestine are those of the British Mandate excluding the Transjordan, as described in the Palestinian National Charter. Israel was established in three-quarters of this territory by the end of the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, and remaining quarter, comprising the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, were occupied by Egypt and by Jordan, and later conquered by Israel during the 1967 war.
Today, Palestine can also be used to refer to the State of Palestine which enjoys diplomatic recognition from over 100 countries in the world, though its boundaries have yet to be determined, it has yet to secure full autonomy, and therefore deviates from the usual criteria governing the classic definition of a state.-Wikipedia

But once they have recognition from about 100 world states, why the situation keeps persisting? Why wouldn't they live in peace with Israel (which is probably not included in those "100 states")? Is Gaza strip so important for them both? Because of what, resources?

Gaza strip is the little corner you see at the bottom sea cost where 1.5 m Palestinian live under siege many of them have there orginal home inside Israel

---------------
The majority of Gaza's residents are from refugee families which fled or were expelled from the land that became Israel in 1948. Most Gazans live in eight refugee camps to which the United Nations delivers health, education and other humanitarian services.
-
Some of the camps have merged with nearby towns, while others such as Nuseirat and Bureij are self-contained.
-
The influx of refugees into the narrow strip of land means it now has one of the highest population densities on earth. About 20% of refugee dwellings are not connected to the sewage system and waste water flows in open channels along roads.

The latest UN figures for the camp populations are: Jabaliya (106,691), Rafah (95,187), Shati (78,768), Nuseirat (57,120), Khan Younis (63,219), Bureij (28,770), Maghazi (22,266), Deir el-Balah (19,534).

but why did the refugees gather namely in Gaza Strip and not in other places? If it has the largest densities in the world, then poverty is lack of development is unavoidable.

in my opinion the only thing that can help palestinians is the creation of their own state(that can actually provide support to its citizens),with the help of UN and of course Israel, but first the palestinians must recognise the legality of Israel, and this kind of pictures obviously don't help to the stabilization in this region.

Palestinians won't create their own state, maybe first of all because the UN considers Hamas to be terrorists, and as long as Palestinians back this group, they won't be succeeding.

If the political issues can be solved, religion can't be divided, and since one of the problems of Israel and Palestina is religion, hardly possible the problem is to going to be solved.

the issue is political (land, water, freedom, rights.......)
there is a religion factor but it is not the main one.

Israel can offer some land and development founds in exchange of peace, also Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia can help the Palestinian people...and Palestinians have to stop their terrorist attacks against Israel.

If other countries help Palestinians, this will worsen the relations between Israel and these countries. So this is not a solution

very sad movie. Israeli authorities should have let at least the gas to circulate for people to cook. Otherwise there is no way to survive. Unfortunately this what war means, the sad truth - even common citizens who have nothing to do with politics die.

why don't these peaceful citizens from Palestina just move to Israel?
It would be a solution for them. Particularly I am talking about pregnant women and youth, who have nothing to do with the inter-state conflict.
