Throwing bread to birds is harmful for them, as in the result of some experiments, it was proved that it is a waste for the birds' digestive juices and fills them up without doing them any good. It's funny of course, but it's a fact :lol:
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

I heard that bread and beer (both from grain) helped humans to progress and become more longevive and healthy. For example the greek monks eat just bread, olives and raisins and drink water(or wine in holidays)and liveI ussually many years. What is wrong giving bread to birds? :livre :quoi

maybe the birds digesting system is a little bit different from the human's. I don't know. But I also sometimes in parks feed birds with bread, and can you imagine - none of them died!

That’s absolutely not true!
I had a parrot, and we gave him bread all the time, from what I remember. And he leaved quite happy with us during 11 or 12 years, till the moment he was old for his feather.
I miss him a lot.
