i read somewhere that a lot of the CO2 emmissions gasses comes actually from farm animal's....eeerrrmmmm.....farts....!!!! the way we bred them made them excellent meat machines but it also made them excellent CO2 emmissions machines....and they come in their millions....
so,do you think that if we curved their breeding, and introduced native animals in our diet, that are bred but not to that extent, would that be another plus...??another little help for the enviroment....??
let's say we breed guanacos in latin america, antelopes and buffalo and wilderbeast in africa, kangaroos in australia, deer or european bison in europe, american bison or caribous in north america, and buffaloes or deer in asia....other meats could also be promoted like ostrich, crocodile, camel, emou, to replace partly the mass breeding of cattle, ship, pigs, goats, chickens and so on....
the meat will be also "cleaner" because it won't have as many chemicals and antibiotics, and as a more species are being bred, even for consumption, the more diverse animals graze the land and the distruction in some areas could be less....
so what do you think....? lurp
we fear what we do not understand,we fear the uknown,we fear what is different from us....but our greatest fear is yet unavoidable...so why do we need all others....??

Am shocked to hear that... animals polluting the air by farts
However this might be true, if we understand that there are millions of them and their weights is much bigger than human weights. However I didn't understand why you said that the meat we eat contains chemicals and antibiotics? It's not true. They may have some chemicals only put in the factory, for being preserved for a longer time.

Nice one, as we use to fart 2-5 times per day and most of the farts were toxic lol

Simply compare USA to any African country. Which of them is more polluted? Africa - no!
America is full of cars while Africans raise cattle, the first seems to be polluting the air much stronger than the latter, which almost causes no effect to climate warming or things like that.

animals that have been bred for so long are being given antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals (hormones for example) to grow faster,to get more weight faster,to produce more milk or eggs etc....so they are not always "clean".....
and i read a report about how pigs and cattle polute the air by this "way"...now if that is true i do not know, but if some think that not eating meat will reduce that effect, i as a meat eater, have given another solution....

I am definitely a meat eater. So, it seems I'm polluting the air
The animals were bred and given chemicals in order that they faster grow and are faster given for food. This makes a lot of profit for livestock growers.
I'm not sure if this makes the air polluted...
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

And what is your opinion now, do you believe the article? If yes, why? Have you read anything alike till the moment?

i think it is not necessary.....if animals are breeding healthy and in controled numbers and being checked by veterinary doctors and with respect to the enviroment etc, i think there is no need....BUT if it was to happen, i would not mind it either....i would not mind eating bison or ostrich instead of beef or pork...
i only read something like that once..in a newspaper, i do not remember where exactly...so i thought to discuss it with others and see if and what can be done about it....

 I would hesitate to eat ostrich meat. Although many say it has a great taste. I remember once breaking accidentally an ostrich egg, the mother run after me, but I managed to escape from her. hew...

Sure it's better than beef meet. But the price is also "better". I remember eating ostrich meat in restaurant and paid $90 for two small pieces. Maybe this is why I remember the taste :-)
