Experienced Application Developer (SQL Server/MS Access VB.Net developer) required to develop a custom MIS in Central London for a SME, services-retailer.
The Application Developer's role will be to develop a custom MIS to allow us to take full advantage of our unique business model. One part of the system will be a point of sale system.
There is no exsisting IT system to work from but we are very clear on what is required from the system and how it must work.
The Windows Applications Developer will be required to manage and implement the entire project from requirements capture, to hardware sourcing and software development, then to completion. Once the project has been completed the role will progress into expansion and maintenance.
The role would suit someone who:
-likes to take initiative
-can work on their own (or manage a small team if required)
-has had previous experience developing bespoke business applications
(POS) Point Of Sale software and/or hardware experience is an advantage but not essential.
This is a full-time position
