I think each person travelling needs to have his/her own visa. How would security be able to know that you are his wife?

Depends what passport you have. Most likely you need a visa as you will be entering the Schengen zone but the UK is not a signatory to the agreement. Your visa settlement ? (I assume you mean "Indefinate Leave to Remain" only means you will be permitted to return to the UK. Outside the UK it is worthless.

You only can travel to Belgium without a visa if you hold a passport of a country that is visa exempt to Belgium and the Schengen territory.

Being married to a British citizen who lives in Britain does not give you treaty rights established for other EU citizens who have made use of their right to freely travel and reside in Europe.
