Dont go chasing for love/dates. But if it comes to you, then what can you do?? =)
Accept things as they come, and dont force, expect, or wait for anything. Especially love.

If everyone did that we wouldn't reproduce, The key here is being honest with yourself about your needs and your own human existence, nothing short of a miracle will make any of us suitable companions, it's in the mixture of loss and gain that we build perspective on how to nurture a good relationship, life is too short for the sort of voodoo mumbo jumbo that is passed around as truths and substance. One truth is that you and only you can make that determination of whether to engage in relating, if your still crushed by the last one, date and take a look around, nothing wrong with a little window shopping just keep yours and their expectations on a very real level and if they want more and your not ready say so, being authentic can be one of the most useful and often under used tools we have. But grabbing whatever comes along to fill a void can become a very disappointing adventure. Loving ones self and admiring your own qualities without being too self involved can be very satisfying. Good luck

If you have pressing problems in your life right now then it's true.. you have to first be comfortable with who you are.. respect and love yourself before you can love anyone else and set yourself goals.. and when you achieved a goal you will feel more self confident.. but if your personal life is in a mess don't get into a relationship if you just ended one because then you are on the rebound still and this won't work you then need time to get over this.. believe in yourself build up your self esteem and then when you respect and love yourself others will love you but it's right.. if you don't have that you need to sort that out first... xx

If you feel comfortable enough to date, and you want to date, I don't see why not?

I'm not dating, and haven't been dating for a year now. I am going through a very difficult time, dating would only add to my confusion. I need to focus on my needs, so I can make the best choices. That's just my personal story though.

Yes its true to a point because if your looking for your soulmate, youshould be prepared a bit ahead of time so that you are ready to spend the rest of ur life with that person, but you can always get to know them as friends during this time.
No law against that.
